This Xbox 360 video game is a shooter game that casts players in the roles of opposing factions in a previously utopian city. The fighting between resistance and security forces is simply the frame story for Brink. While most multiplayer shooters offer players the ability to jump, this game offers players the ability to use parkour-based movement to easily and quickly navigate the urban environments of the game. The players' capabilities to do this are further governed by how they have chosen to build their individual characters in Brink. Customisation is a large part of this Xbox 360 video game and players build their characters around four class and three body types, each of which has its own strengths and weaknesses. The largest body type in this shooter game may be able to wield the heaviest weapons, but it cannot move as fast or jump as far as the others, whereas the smallest body type is the exact opposite. By offering a high degree of customisation and a novel movement method, Brink makes itself noticeable in a relatively common genre of games.
